CLEAR is registered as a UK political party. It gives us credibility, respectability and, during elections, a right to fair coverage in the media. We do not seek to win seats in parliament because we are concerned with only one issue. We aim to support politicians who will support a safer, more responsible policy of tax and regulation of cannabis. We will work against those who support prohibition.
For by-elections, our strategy will depend on the candidates. We will aim to secure agreements with other candidates for active support of our cause. If we can disrupt the campaigns of prohibitionists from any other party, we will try to do so. We shall aim to work hard but smart to gain the greatest influence.
